About Me
Software developer, AI enthusiast, and outdoor adventurer
My Story
Hey there! I'm Bobby Galli, a software developer based in Providence, RI, though my roots run deep in the woods of New Hampshire. I'm a friendly, hard-working, curious, and entrepreneurial minded individual trying to leave the world a little better than I found it.
By day, I'm a Principal Software Engineer at BugSplat, where I build crash and error reporting tools that help development teams ship better software. I've been with the team since 2017, and it's been an incredible journey building tools that developers actually love to use.
On the side, I run Working Dev's Hero, my consulting company where I help businesses tackle tough technical challenges. Whether it's building a new feature, debugging a gnarly issue, or architecting a system from scratch — I love solving problems.
I'm also a huge AI enthusiast. I love testing out the latest tools and exploring how they can make developers more productive. You'll often find me writing about software development, AI, and the ever-evolving tech landscape.

Life Outside the Terminal
When I'm not writing code, you'll find me enjoying the great outdoors. Growing up in New Hampshire gave me a deep appreciation for nature — from hiking through the White Mountains to ripping turns at local ski resorts.
I'm an avid hockey player, golfer, and snowboarder. I also spend a good amount of time at the gym and love discovering new coffee shops to work from.
My wife Cassie owns a horse, so I've spent a lot of time at the barn. It's a nice change of pace from staring at screens all day! We also enjoy watching Deadliest Catch and Alone together.
Music-wise, I'm a classic rock fan at heart, though I'll admit I've been getting a bit country curious lately. I'm a follower of Jesus Christ and created the Hey Bible app for quick verse lookup, note taking, and creating beautiful unique images from my favorite verses.
